The Good Hope Great House was built around 1755 and is known for its high raftered ceilings and pinewood and wild orange floors. The Good Hope Estate was originally settled in 1742 by Thomas Williams and sold to John Tharp twenty-five years later.

Some of the main regions include, Accompong, Flagstaff, Windsor, Wait-A-Bit/Litchfield, and Sherwood Content.
